In the joyful atmosphere celebrating the Vietnamese Teachers' Day on November 20 in the whole country, UFBA solemnly held the Anniversary of 42nd Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 – November 20, 2024) to reflect on the glorious tradition of educators and express deep gratitude to the generations of teachers who have contributed their efforts and intellect to the noble cause of educating the next generations.

Attending this solemn Commemoration Ceremony, on behalf of the Ministry of Finance, there were Mr. Ngo Chi Tung, Deputy Director of Personnel and Organization Department (Ministry of Finance), along with representatives from employers, including corporations, businesses, and banks, as well as members of the Central Pricing Association.

          On the University’s side, there were Distinguished Teacher, Dr. Nguyen Trong Nghia, Party Secretary and UFBA President, Dr. Le Tuan Hiep, Deputy Party Secretary and Chairman of UFBA Council, along with members of the Party Committee, University Council, leaders of units, lecturers, and representatives of students and learners from various cohorts.

          On this occasion, Mr. Ho Duc Phoc, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance, sent a congratulatory letter and flowers to the generations of staff, faculty, and students of the University. On behalf of the Minister of Finance, Mr. Ngo Chi Tung, Deputy Director of Personnel and Organization Department (Ministry of Finance), read the congratulatory letter for Vietnamese Teachers' Day.

On behalf of the Ministry of Finance leadership, Mr. Ngo Chi Tung, Deputy Director of Personnel and Organization Department (Ministry of Finance) presenting flowers and reading the letter from the Minister of Finance.

        At the ceremony, Distinguished Teacher, Dr. Nguyen Trong Nghia, Party Secretary and UFBA President, delivered a speech reflecting on the tradition and significance of Vietnamese Teachers' Day and affirmed, "Following in the footsteps of previous generations, in the current trend of global integration, it is the teachers that every day nurture and develop the rich cultural heritage of our nation. They enlighten minds, cultivate virtues, and shape the hearts of millions of beloved students. It is the teachers, with their noble mission, who have contributed significantly to training human resources and fostering talent for the country's rapid and sustainable development." Distinguished Teacher, Dr. Nguyen Trong Nghia also affirmed that UFBA has achieved its success today thanks to the tireless efforts of generations of teachers who have dedicated themselves to the University’s educational mission. He extended his best wishes to all teachers and expressed his hope that they will continue to dedicate their heart, mind, and strength to the cause of education and training, further contributing to the development of the University.

On behalf of the leadership and the entire staff, faculty, and students of the University, Distinguished Teacher, Dr. Nguyen Trong Nghia expressed deep gratitude to Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance Ho Duc Phoc, the leadership of the Ministry of Finance, the agencies, organizations, businesses, and all generations of students and learners for their material and spiritual support in building the University of Finance and Business Administration into a continuously developing institution.

On the occasion of this year's Vietnamese Teachers' Day, and on behalf of the Minister of Finance and the Minister of Education, UFBA organized the announcement and presentation of the "Commemorative Medal for the Financial Cause" to 21 teachers, staff, and employees of the University who have made significant contributions to the development and growth of Vietnam's financial sector. Additionally, the University announced and presented the "Commemorative Medal for the Education Cause" to 33 lecturers.

At the commemoration ceremony, Dr. Quan Thi Hoang Anh, Head of Faculty of Foreign Languages, on behalf of the faculty members, delivered a speech expressing gratitude to the Party Committee, University leadership, the heads of various departments, and the staff of the University for creating favorable conditions for the teaching staff to fulfill their teaching and research responsibilities. She also promised to continuously improve her professional skills and expertise, innovate teaching methods, and always strive to become an excellent lecturer, proud to work under the roof of the University of Finance and Business Administration.

She also promised to always strive for excellent academic performance, personal development, and self-improvement, with the goal of becoming a useful member of society — a priceless and meaningful gift to give to the teachers, who are the ones steering the ship of knowledge.
