Collaboration Meeting with Ajou University, South Korea
On the morning of June 27, 2023, UFBA hosted a meeting with representatives from Ajou University, South Korea. The meeting was attended by Dr. Dao Van Tu, UFBA Vice President, alongside other university leaders, while Ajou University was represented by Mr. Lee Dong Yeol, Director of the International Education Center, and his delegation.
The two universities agreed to collaborate on the principles of voluntariness, equality, mutual benefit, and in accordance with the laws of Vietnam and South Korea. They aim for a comprehensive partnership across various academic fields aligned with both institutions' functions, capabilities, and needs in education and scientific research.

Mr. Lee Dong Yeol shared insights into the formation and growth of Ajou University, established in 1973 and recognized as one of South Korea's leading technical universities. Located in Suwon, approximately 50 kilometers south of Seoul, Ajou University hosts around 16,000 students, including 10,000 undergraduates, 4,000 postgraduates, and 2,000 in other programs. Initially founded as a technical school, Ajou has since expanded its undergraduate and graduate offerings to include programs in science, engineering, healthcare, business, social sciences, law, and the arts.

At the close of the meeting, Dr. Dao Van Tu expressed gratitude for Ajou University's visit and collaboration.
