INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE BUSINESS BASED ON DIGITAL PLATFORM – 5TH EDITION

Building on the success of the previous four editions, in 2025 the University of Finance – Marketing, in collaboration with UFBA, the Ho Chi Minh City University of Banking, and the School of Economics – Can Tho University, co-organized the 5th International Scientific Conference on “Business based on Digital Platform – BDP5”. This academic event served as an important forum for scholars, experts, and businesses to present research findings, share experiences, and discuss emerging trends in business on digital platforms.

Overview of  The 5th International Scientific Conference on Business based on Digital Platforms

The conference focused on pressing issues such as economic and enterprise development driven by technology platforms; digital business domains including finance – banking, accounting, auditing, logistics, tourism, marketing, and real estate; the role of state management and regulation in the digital transformation process; strategies for training and developing high-quality human resources; as well as educational innovation trends linking training with business needs and sustainable development goals.

The Organizing Committee received more than 100 research papers from domestic and international scholars. After rigorous review and editing, 82 outstanding papers were selected for publication in the Conference Proceedings. These works not only provide strong theoretical contributions but also demonstrate high practical value, especially in applying technology to business operations, management, and education in the digital economy.

On the morning of September 19, 2025, the opening ceremony was held in a hybrid format, both in-person and online. Distinguished attendees included:

Representatives of the co-organizing institutions of the 5th International Scientific Conference on Business based on Digital Platforms

The conference gathered a large number of experts and researchers from Vietnam and abroad, along with representatives of research institutes, universities, and enterprises. The two keynote speakers were Prof. Garry Tan Wei Han from UCSI University, Malaysia, and Prof. Dr. Nguyen Trung Hung from the University of New Mexico, USA, and Chiang Mai University, Thailand.

The program was divided into two specialized discussion groups: Economics – Finance – Banking, and Business – Management. Numerous high-quality presentations were delivered, addressing key topics such as business development in the digital era, applications of technology in corporate governance, the regulatory role of the state, digital human resource development, and educational innovation aligned with real-world needs.

The discussions were lively, reflecting strong interest from both researchers and practitioners. The conference not only provided multi-dimensional perspectives on the opportunities and challenges of digital business but also offered practical recommendations and solutions to foster digital transformation, enhance business competitiveness, and promote sustainable development in the context of global integration.
