Conference of UFBA Officials, Employees, and Workers in 2024
On the morning of October 18, 2024, UFBA held the Conference of Officials, Employees, and Workers for the 2023–2024 academic year. The event was attended by Distinguished Teacher, Dr. Nguyen Trong Nghia – UFBA Party Secretary and President, Dr. Le Tuan Hiep – UFBA Deputy Party Secretary and Chairman of the University Council; members of the Party Executive Committee, the Board of Management, the Executive Committee of the Trade Union, and the Youth Union; along with Heads and Deputy Heads of various units and all officials, employees, and workers of the university.
Overview of the Conference
The conference was chaired by the Presidium, which included Distinguished Teacher, Dr. Nguyen Trong Nghia – UFBA Party Secretary and President, M.A. Do Van Luong – Chairman of UFBA Trade Union, and M.A. Quan Thi Hoang Anh – Head of the Faculty of Foreign Languages.
The Conference Presidium
At the conference, Distinguished Teacher, Dr. Nguyen Trong Nghia delivered a comprehensive report on the summary of the 2023–2024 academic year and outlined directions and tasks for the 2024–2025 academic year. The report highlighted UFBA’s achievements, including active participation in major initiatives led by the Party, the State, and the Ministry of Education and Training. Key areas of progress included political and ideological work, personnel management, scientific research, international cooperation, and a notable improvement in both the quality and quantity of student recruitment for the K12 cohort. While acknowledging these accomplishments, the report also pointed out existing limitations and areas requiring improvement in the coming academic year.

Next, the conference reviewed reports on the supervision of the implementation of the University Council’s Resolution for the 2023–2024 academic year and the report from the People's Inspection Committee for the 2023–2024 academic year. Delegates also presented discussions and contributions on key topics, including: enhancing training quality, strengthening academic advising and student attendance management, and improving the quality of teaching, learning, and evaluation of political theory courses

With a high level of consensus, the conference adopted the draft resolution for the Conference of Officials, Employees, and Workers for the 2024–2025 academic year. The conference reaffirmed confidence in the strong leadership of the Party Committee and the Board of Rectors. With unity and determination, the UFBA community is committed to successfully fulfilling the objectives set forth in the resolution, contributing to the university’s stability and growth.
