Final Round of the Student Start-up and Innovation Contest 2025

On May 8, 2025, UFBA hosted the Final Round of the Student Start-up and Innovation Contest 2025, featuring the 10 most outstanding projects.

Attending the event were: Distinguished Teacher, Dr. Nguyen Trong Nghia – Party Secretary and UFBA President; Dr. Dao Van Tu – UFBA Vice President; Ms. Cao Thi Phuong – Deputy Director of Agribank Van Lam Branch; along with members of the Party Committee, University Council, Board of Rectors, leaders of units and organizations, faculty advisors, representatives of enterprises, banking partners, as well as the 10 start-up teams and a large number of students who came to cheer and support.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Distinguished Teacher, Dr. Nguyen Trong Nghia – Party Secretary and UFBA President, emphasized:

“In recent years, UFBA has paid special attention to innovation and entrepreneurship through many practical activities for learners. In 2025, we continue organizing the Student Start-up and Innovation Contest to further promote the entrepreneurial spirit among students. Every start-up idea, whether big or small, is valuable as it reflects the dynamism, creativity, and aspiration of UFBA students who dare to take risks and bring their personal mark into reality.”

This year, 10 teams with unique and innovative projects had successfully passed two challenging preliminary rounds to advance to the final stage. In the Final Round, teams competed in two segments: presentation and defence of their start-up ideas/projects, followed by a Q&A session with the Jury Panel.

The projects showcased the enthusiasm and creativity of UFBA students, nurturing innovative ideas and products that respond to the practical needs of the community.

Final Results:

• First Prize: Vietnamese Scented Wax Perfume – Class KD10D
• Second Prize: “Color Me” Lip Balm – Class KD10C, and Glass Recycling Project – Class TM11A
• Third Prize: Happy Kids Center – Class QM11A; Eco Toy Vietnam – Class QT11B; Bio-battery from Organic Derivatives – Class TM10A

The 2025 Student Start-up and Innovation Contest at UFBA provided students with an opportunity to apply their academic knowledge into practice, engage in entrepreneurial activities, gain real-world experience, and affirm their creativity and capability. The contest has become a strong source of motivation for students to pursue their entrepreneurial passions, reflecting UFBA’s commitment to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship among its students.
