International Scientific Conference on "Business based on Digital Platform 2023"

On the morning of October 20, 2023, UFBA hosted the International Scientific Conference titled "Business based on Digital Platform 2023." The conference was held in a hybrid format, both in person and online, in collaboration with the University of Finance - Marketing and Ho Chi Minh City University of Banking.

Conference Overview

The conference welcomed notable domestic and international guests, including Mr. Tran Tung Chuan, Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Hung Yen Province; Mr. Do Van Truong, Director of Institute of Finance Training, Ministry of Finance; and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phan The Cong, Head of the Faculty of Economics, Thuong Mai University. Internationally, prominent guests included Senior Professor Dr. Garry Tan Wei Han from UCSI University, Malaysia, and Assoc. Prof. Ho Dac Nguyen Nga from the University of San Francisco, USA, who joined virtually. The co-hosting universities were represented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Tien Dat, President of the University of Finance - Marketing; Distinguished Teacher, Dr. Nguyen Trong Nghia, UFBA President; Assoc. • Shifts in customer behavior and digital marketing strategies in the modern age.

• Business in the digital era across sectors such as finance, banking, insurance, logistics, supply chain, hotel management, tourism, marketing, and real estate.
• The impact of digitization on economic growth.
• The influence of digital platforms on digital business startup intentions.

• Trends in higher education in the context of business on digital platforms.

Opening address and Notable Discussions

In his opening address, Distinguished Teacher, Dr. Nguyen Trong Nghia, UFBA President, emphasized that the BDP-3 conference serves as a forum for both domestic and international scientists, experts, and business managers to discuss theoretical and practical issues related to digital platform-based business. He highlighted that the conference aims to provide solutions and recommendations for government regulators and Vietnamese enterprises, contributing to the acceleration of digital transformation in Vietnamese businesses in the coming years.

Publication and Highlights

The conference organizers received over 100 submissions, selecting 76 high-quality papers for publication in the 2023 conference proceedings. These papers primarily focused on assessing current and emerging technologies in domestic and international markets, exploring how organizations and individuals can effectively leverage these technologies to optimize business performance with limited resources.

Prominent presentations included those by Distinguished Teacher, Dr. Nguyen Trong Nghia, who awarded prizes to outstanding authors for their contributions to the conference, and other keynote speakers who provided valuable insights across the three sessions.

Conclusion

The conference concluded successfully, with attendees capturing commemorative photos alongside the organizing committee, marking a valuable event for knowledge exchange and fostering further advancements in digital platform-based business.
