In a festive atmosphere to welcome the new academic year, on the morning of September 12, 2024, UFBA held the grand opening ceremony and scholarship awards for the 2024-2025 academic year.

On behalf of the Party Committee and the University Management Board, Distinguished Teacher, Dr. Nguyen Trong Nghia, Party Secretary, and the University President, delivered the opening address and sounded the ceremonial drum to commence the new academic year. In his speech, he highlighted the university's significant achievements in the 2023-2024 academic year, outlined key directions and objectives for 2024-2025, and reaffirmed the institution's commitment to training quality. He encouraged all faculty, staff, and students to stay united, committed, and diligent in achieving the university's mission with dedication and increased efforts.

During the ceremony, the university announced and awarded scholarships to outstanding students who overcame hardships. Representatives from the university also received contributions from corporate sponsors for the university’s scholarship fund for the new academic year.

In recent years, in line with its training approach of aligning education with societal needs, the university has strengthened partnerships with businesses to support teaching, internships, and scholarships, helping guide students’ career paths. The opening ceremony for the 2024-2025 academic year concluded successfully, leaving a joyous and enthusiastic atmosphere among the guests, faculty, staff, and especially the new Cohort 12 students. The celebratory spirit of the opening day will serve as motivation for students to excel in their studies at the University of Finance and Business Administration.
