Opening Ceremony and Scholarship Awards for the Academic Year 2022–2023

In the jubilant atmosphere of welcoming the new academic year, on the morning of October 19, 2022, UFBA held a grand Opening Ceremony and Scholarship Awards for the academic year 2022–2023.

          On behalf of the Party Committee and the Management Board, Distinguished Teacher, Dr. Nguyen Trong Nghia, Party Secretary and UFBA President, delivered the opening speech and struck the drum to signify the start of the new academic year. The speech highlighted UFBA’s significant achievements in the 2021–2022 academic year and outlined key directions and tasks for the new academic year of 2022–2023. The 2021–2022 academic year faced numerous challenges, particularly with the Covid-19 pandemic disrupting in-person learning at many points. Despite these challenges, the University of Finance and Business Administration adapted quickly to ensure both pandemic safety and the successful completion of academic objectives. With a spirit of solidarity and a focus on practice-oriented training, the University anticipates further successes in admissions, teaching, and learning for the academic year 2022–2023.

During the opening ceremony, Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, a freshman in the 10th cohort majoring in Business Administration, expressed her honor and pride in representing all freshmen and students in sharing her feelings and thoughts at the new academic year’s Opening Ceremony.

During the ceremony, the University announced decisions and awarded scholarships to students with outstanding academic performance who face difficult circumstances. The event also saw the University receiving valuable contributions from sponsors to the University’s scholarship fund for the new academic year.

Surely, the joy of the first day will motivate these new students to succeed on their academic journey at UFBA.
