Sports Festival of the Emulation Bloc of Universities and Colleges in Hung Yen Province – Academic Year 2024–2025

In accordance with the plan of the Emulation Bloc of Universities and Colleges in Hung Yen Province and with the approval of the Provincial Council for Emulation and Commendation, on March 18, 2025, Hung Yen Community College hosted the Sports Festival of the Emulation Bloc of Universities and Colleges in Hung Yen Province for the 2024–2025 academic year. The event aimed to strengthen friendship, promote exchange and learning, and share experiences among higher education institutions in the province.

Attending the opening ceremony were rectors and vice rectors of universities and colleges in the bloc, along with athletes from seven institutions including Hung Yen University of Technical Education, University of Finance and Business Administration, Hung Yen Industrial College, Hung Yen Community College, Hung Yen Medical College, To Hieu College of Economics and Technology, and Vocational College of Electromechanics and Irrigation. The festival featured two competitions: Badminton and Pickleball.

A total of 52 athletes competed in the two sports, creating an atmosphere of unity, fairness, and excitement. The event proved to be a meaningful activity that encouraged faculty and staff to improve their physical fitness, develop a habit of regular exercise, and foster opportunities for networking and solidarity among institutions. It also contributed to promoting the movement of “Good Teaching – Good Learning” and improving the quality and effectiveness of education in the province.

Throughout the competition, all teams adhered to the rules and regulations. Referees worked with professionalism, fairness, and accuracy in evaluating the performance of each individual, team, and institution.

At the conclusion of the festival, UFBA’s team won First Prize in the Men’s Doubles Badminton event.
