UFBA Competition for Excellent Teaching Skills in 2022
Amid the joyous and enthusiastic atmosphere leading up to Vietnamese Teachers' Day on November 20th, and in line with the 2022-2023 academic year plan, UFBA held the Competition for Excellent Teaching Skills on November 16-17, 2022. This event aimed to create an opportunity for instructors to learn, exchange experiences, and actively improve their professional expertise to meet occupational standards.

In his opening remarks, Distinguished Teacher, Dr. Nguyen Trong Nghia, Party Secretary and UFBA President, highlighted the significance of the competition in celebrating the 40th anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day on November 20th. Dr. Nghia emphasized the essential role of pedagogical skills in the education sector, particularly for instructors, as they not only convey knowledge but also inspire students and provide guidance in skill development. The competition served as an essential activity, offering faculty members an opportunity to exchange knowledge, enhance their professional skills, innovate in teaching methods, and nurture a passion for their vocation in alignment with the new educational and training requirements.

The competition consisted of two sections: team and individual. In the team section, seven teams participated in the following areas: Greetings, Pedagogical Knowledge, and Pedagogical Situation Handling. In the individual section, twelve faculty members competed in two areas: Public Speaking and Talent (including Performing Arts, Student Guidance and Counseling, and Designing Educational Activities).
All participating teams and individuals fulfilled their entries as registered with the organizing committee. Each entry showcased meticulous, serious, and creative preparation. The performances, such as Greetings and Talent, reflected the instructors' pride in their profession, while the Pedagogical Situations shared during the Q&A segment resonated with real-life teaching experiences.
The panel awarded prizes for both the team and individual categories:
- Team category: 1 First Prize, 2 Second Prizes, and 4 Third Prizes
- Individual category: 1 First Prize, 2 Second Prizes, 3 Third Prizes, and 6 Encouragement Prizes
All participants received certificates recognizing them as excellent instructors in pedagogical skills at the school level in 2022.
