WELCOME CEREMONY FOR THE NEW ACADEMIC YEAR AND CORPORATE SCHOLARSHIP AWARDING – ACADEMIC YEAR 2025–2026

In a joyful and festive atmosphere to mark the beginning of the new academic year, on the morning of September 22, 2025, UFBA solemnly held the Welcome Ceremony for the New Academic Year and Corporate Scholarship Awarding – Academic Year 2025–2026.

Overview of the Welcome Ceremony for the New Academic Year and Corporate Scholarship Awarding – Academic Year 2025–2026

The ceremony was honored by the presence of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dao Tung – Member of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Finance, Director of the Academy of Finance; Mr. Dang Ngoc Quynh – Former Standing Vice Chairman of the Hung Yen Provincial People’s Committee, Member of the University Council; Mr. Trinh Van Dien – Former Director of the Department of Planning and Investment of Hung Yen Province, Member of the University Council; Ms. Le Thi Phuong Loan – Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Nhu Quynh Commune; Mr. Maruyama Tsuyoshi – General Director of Stanley Electric Vietnam Co., Ltd.; representatives of the Alumni Council and the Central Price Alumni Business Club; as well as businesses and banks sponsoring scholarships for the University’s students.

On behalf of the University, attendees included Dr. Le Tuan Hiep – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Acting Party Committee Leader, and Chairman of UFBA Council; Dr. Nguyen Thi Bich Diep – Member of the Party Committee, UFBA Vice President; former Rectors and former Chairpersons of UFBA Council; members of the Party Committee, the Board of Management, leaders of departments and organizations; lecturers, academic advisors; representatives of students from cohorts 11 and 12; and all new freshmen of Cohort 13.

Speaking on behalf of the University’s Party Committee and Board of Management, Dr. Nguyen Thi Bich Diep delivered the welcome address for the new academic year 2025–2026. She reviewed the University’s outstanding achievements in 2024–2025, outlined the core missions for the new year, and reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to training quality. She emphasized: With the philosophy of student-centered learning and guided by our philosophy: Quality – Professionalism – Modernism, I pledge, together with our staff and faculty, to make every effort to accompany and support our students to become excellent, well-rounded individuals with intellect, character, physical well-being, and aesthetics, equipped with dynamic, innovative, and creative thinking, and a spirit of dedication to the happiness and development of the nation and humanity.” She also called upon all faculty, staff, and students to remain united, responsible, and determined to successfully carry out the new academic year’s objectives.

Representing the freshmen, Nguyen Tuan Hung – a first-year student of Cohort 13, majoring in Business Administration – expressed his pride and excitement:
“Standing here today at this solemn ceremony, each of us feels a burning passion for learning and contributing as young people. From the very beginning, we received thoughtful guidance and support for admission, accommodation, and university learning methods. During our first orientation week, we realized the University has a dedicated, highly qualified faculty, teaching in a professional yet approachable manner. We are provided with modern facilities, abundant scholarships, and vibrant student organizations that help us quickly integrate. These will be a powerful motivation for us to study and strive harder. We promise to uphold the spirit of honesty, responsibility, passion, innovation, and collaboration in our learning and personal development, continuing the proud tradition of the University of Finance – Business Administration.”

At the ceremony, the University also announced scholarship decisions and awarded financial support to outstanding students facing difficult circumstances. On this occasion, UFBA leaders received meaningful contributions from sponsors to the University’s scholarship fund.
