UFBA Conference of Staff and Employees 2023
On the morning of September 30, 2023, UFBA held its annual Conference of Staff and Employees for the 2022-2023 academic year.

The conference was chaired by the Executive Board, including Distinguished Teacher, Dr. Nguyen Trong Nghia, Party Secretary and President; Mr. Do Van Luong, Chairman of the University Trade Union; and Ms. Le Thi Mui Ha, Lecturer from the Faculty of Foreign Languages.

During the conference, Dr. Nguyen Trong Nghia presented the Summary Report for the 2022-2023 academic year and outlined the directions and tasks for 2023-2024. The report highlighted key achievements from the past year, such as active participation in significant campaigns initiated by the Party, State, and Ministry of Education and Training; advancements in political and ideological education; staff organization; scientific research and international cooperation; and quality assurance improvements in both quantity and quality. The report also identified areas requiring improvement in the coming year.

The conference then reviewed the report on the implementation of the University Council's resolutions for 2022-2023, the report from the People's Inspection Committee, and listened to contributions and discussions from the attending delegates.

The conference also announced commendations, elected the new People's Inspection Committee, launched the 2023-2024 academic year’s emulation campaign, and signed the emulation pledge.

The conference approved 12 key targets for the 2023-2024 academic year, including: Political and ideological education; Staff organization and development; Admissions and training; Strengthening partnerships with businesses, banks, government agencies, and public institutions for practical experience opportunities for faculty and students; Testing and quality assurance; Enhancing the quality and quantity of academic publications; Infrastructure development; Financial support for staff welfare; Recognition and reward systems; Community service and charitable activities; Party development within the university.
With high consensus, the conference ratified the draft Resolution for the 2023-2024 academic year.
