UFBA’s Conference of Staff and Employees in 2022

On the morning of October 15, 2022, the University of Finance and Business Administration held its Conference of Staff and Employees for the academic year 2021–2022.

The conference was presided over by a panel comprising Distinguished Teacher, Dr. Nguyen Trong Nghia, Party Secretary and President, Mr. Do Van Luong, Chairman of the Labour Union, and Dr. Nguyen Thanh Huyen, Head of the Management Accounting Department under the Accounting - Auditing Faculty.

At the conference, Distinguished Teacher, Dr.Nguyen Trong Nghia, Party Secretary and President, presented the summary report for the 2021–2022 academic year and the objectives and tasks for 2022–2023. The report highlighted the University’s achievements over the past academic year, including active participation in major movements led by the Party, the Government, and the Ministry of Education and Training; initiatives in political and ideological education; personnel organization; scientific research; international cooperation; and, notably, enhancements in quality assurance—both in quantity and quality. In addition to the successes, the report also identified areas for improvement in the coming academic year.

Following this, the conference reviewed the report on the supervision of the implementation of the University Council’s Resolutions for 2021–2022; the report of the People’s Inspection Committee for the 2021–2022 academic year; and comments and contributions from attending delegates, who presented ideas to strengthen the management of facilities and teaching equipment and to further quality assurance efforts for the upcoming academic year.

The conference announced commendation decisions, launched an emulation drive, and signed the emulation agreement for the 2022–2023 academic year.

The conference unanimously approved the 11 key targets for the 2022–2023 academic year, including political and ideological education; staff organization, development, and training; student recruitment and academic programs; fostering connections with external organizations (businesses, banks, administrative agencies, and public service units) for practical learning opportunities for both faculty and students; testing and quality assurance; research initiatives and journal publication quality; infrastructure improvement; financial initiatives to support staff well-being; commendation and award processes; community service activities; and Party development within the University.

With a high level of agreement, the conference adopted the draft resolution of the 2022–2023 UFBA Conference of Staff and Employees. The conference confidently believes that, under the leadership and guidance of the Party Committee and University Administration, along with the unity and solidarity of all faculties, staff, and employees, UFBA will achieve the targets set out in the conference resolution, contributing to the the University’s stability and growth.
