Divisional Trade Union Congress for the 2023-2028 Term

In accordance with the regulations of the Vietnam Trade Union Charter and the guidelines outlined in Document No. 180/KH-CĐN dated December 20, 2022, UFBA organized the Divisional Union Congress for the 2023-2028 term. From March 1 to March 15, 2023, all 18 sub-unions under the university’s trade union successfully held their congresses for the new term.

During the congresses, the members discussed and approved reports on the leadership activities of the 2017-2022 term, set goals, orientations, and tasks for the 2023-2028 term, and reviewed the role of the Branch Party Committees from the previous term. The reports provided a thorough assessment of accomplishments and identified areas for improvement in task performance. Each sub-union successfully elected its Executive Committee for the 2023-2028 term.

The congresses conducted elections for the Executive Committee, Chairman, and Vice Chairmen of the new term, adhering strictly to trade union electoral regulations. A total of 36 members were elected as Executive Committee members, Chairman, and Vice Chairmen for the 2023-2028 term, receiving the trust of their respective congresses.

The results of the congresses across all 18 sub-union executive committees were officially ratified by the university’s Trade Union. The newly elected Executive Committees are committed to advancing the goals established in the congresses, promoting unity, creativity, and intelligence in their leadership of each sub-union. They aim to excel in fulfilling their responsibilities for the 2022-2023 academic year, contributing to the growth and strength of the university’s Trade Union and the development of the institution.
