National Scientific Conference 2024: “Green Finance for Sustainable Economic Development in Vietnam”
Recognizing the role of green finance in sustainable economic development, on the morning of September 26, 2024, the University of Finance and Business Administration held the 2024 National Scientific Conference with the topic: "Green Finance for Sustainable Economic Development in Vietnam." The conference served as a forum for scientists, economic managers, and enterprises to exchange and discuss issues related to green finance and sustainable economic development. Through this, it provided scientific and practical arguments, as well as solutions and recommendations for state management agencies, organizations, businesses, and individuals in innovating and applying mechanisms and policies to promote green finance development associated with sustainable economic growth in Vietnam.
The conference also offered an opportunity for scientists, lecturers, and students at the university to access theoretical and practical issues regarding green finance for sustainable economic development in Vietnam, thereby aligning the university’s training objectives with practical application.

The conference attracted a large number of scientists from universities, academies, and research institutes across the country. The organizing committee received more than 70 submissions, selecting and editing 56 quality articles for publication in the conference proceedings. These articles focused on the following main topics:
- Theoretical and practical issues regarding green finance (definitions; roles, influencing factors, tools, and policy mechanisms; opportunities, challenges, and issues in implementing green finance in the current context; international experience in green finance implementation...).
- Theoretical and practical issues regarding sustainable economic development (definitions; roles, influencing factors; opportunities, challenges, and issues for sustainable economic development in the current context; international experience...).
- Specifying Party policies and viewpoints on green finance mechanisms linked to sustainable economic development.
- Assessment of the status of green finance implementation and development solutions.
- Evaluation of the impact of state mechanisms and policies on green finance development in Vietnam, with a focus on overarching policies directly related to the integration of green finance with sustainable economic growth.
