UFBA Participating in the Finals of the First Hung Yen Province Innovative Startup Competition 2024

On May 15, 2024, the Department of Science and Technology of Hung Yen Province hosted a conference celebrating Vietnam Science and Technology Day (May 18) and the closing ceremony of the First Hung Yen Province Innovative Startup Competition 2024.

Overview of the Competition

The "Innovative Startup Competition" was organized by the People's Committee of Hung Yen Province to promote and foster a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship across the province, aiming to inspire the local community and raise awareness of innovative startup (KNĐMST) projects. The competition also seeks to bring potential startup projects to fruition and recognizes ideas and projects with strong development potential.

This year, 94 entries qualified for the preliminary round. The organizing committee, with the assistance of independent experts, evaluated the projects and selected 50 entries for the finals, comprising 17 ideas and 33 developed products. The University of Finance and Business Administration advanced to the finals with three projects: one product-based project, “Using Leaves to Replace Environmentally Unfriendly Products - Green 4B” from Class TM10A, and two idea-based projects, “Green Sprout Incubation” from Class QT10A and “Dan Tam Herbal Tea” from Class QM10A.

The competition sparked a passion for scientific research and creativity among faculty and students of the University of Finance and Business Administration. The achievements of the university’s faculty and students in this competition will serve as a driving force for further academic excellence and scientific enthusiasm.
